Managing Investigator: Christopher A. Borba, MBA

Christopher has worked or managed over 250 cases for litigation support to include personal injury cases and various internal investigations. 

He started his career in the U.S. Army where he served as a paratrooper/infantryman in the 82nd Airborne Division with deployments to Kosovo and Afghanistan. Upon leaving the army, he went to work as a patrol officer with the Fayetteville Police Department in Fayetteville, NC, and simultaneously completed his Bachelor degree. He became a detective in the police department's Major Crimes Bureau before relocating to Roanoke, VA for his wife's career. 

Christopher  held a top secret security clearance, and worked as an investigator for a large government contractor conducting background investigations for national security on behalf of OPM and the DoD.  He holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, where he received a full scholarship from ASIS.

Christopher has been published multiple times in Pursuit Magazine, an industry publication, and Valley Business Front, a local business print publication. He has written various articles on investigation techniques, new fraud trends, interviewing, handling difficult people, internal investigations, business intelligence, and background investigations.
